Please join us for A Workshop on Self-Care  - Healing the Helpers

Working as a collaborative professional brings deep satisfaction and lasting rewards, yet helping clients through suffering can have a negative impact on the individual and team. This workshop aims to help you understand the cost of caring and equip you with tools to minimize risk to the individual and team.

We will use multiple experiential exercises to allow participants to connect and share their own experiences, and we will focus on this as an essential piece of building resilience to prevent and overcome symptoms of compassion fatigue. We will provide many “take away” exercises that build upon the foundation of principles discussed in the workshop, allowing participants to generalize the tools to their real world experiences.  Presenters:  Dr. Deborah Gilman and Lisa Standish.

This CLASP Educational Program will be held from 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM on Tuesday, April 2, 2019.  After the program we plan to go to Happy Hour (details to follow) somewhere Downtown.

If you plan to attend please register so that we can let the building security know who to expect.  If you have questions please contact Devin Hallett Snyder at devin@hallettsnyder.com or 412-828-3011.

For those who want to join us after the program or for those who cannot attend but would like to meet up for happy hour feel free to come.

We do plan to have additional educational programs at least monthly in 2019 with the schedule for the coming months to be set as soon as possible so be on the look-out for additional information so you can reserve the dates on your calendar.
